The Spurgeon Boys are a local group that performs mainly bluegrass, country, folk, and old-time music.
We play in and around the Maryville, Tennessee area and can be heard at some of the local jam sessions like Rocky Branch Community Center and the Cades Cove Old-Timers day.

Hey there! We sure have been busy this year! We have some new events scheduled on our calender that you may want to check out. Jeremy has a new portable digital recorder that he has been using to record some shows, so look forward to some podcasts on the music page soon. We also have a mobile version of the site now that you can access by clicking the "mobile site" link at the top of this page, and we have a new facebook site as well.
The Spurgeon Boys would also like to congradulate our buddy, Matthew Taylor, on his win at this year's Young Pickers Contest, held at the Townsend Spring Festival. He won the Grand Prize in flat-picking! Way to go Matt! Check out his video below.
